FOUR JOBS, ONE ACCOUNT
Four systems that used to be separate, on one set of data
The usual setup is a schedule in a LINE group, a fingerprint scanner by the door, paper leave forms, and payroll in Excel. Those four do not talk to each other, and the person who reconciles them every month is you.
In WorkCo the shift you assigned is the reference. A check-in is measured against that shift, leave comes off that person's own balance, and payroll is calculated from the hours that actually happened. Nothing is retyped and nothing is reconciled.
- GPS check-in and check-out from the employee's own phone, with a radius you set per branch. The button can be hidden if you only send schedules.
- Attendance reporting, a Late stamp beside the name on the day's schedule, and an evening preview of tomorrow's shift
- Leave requested and approved inside LINE, with the remaining balance shown by leave type
- Payroll calculated from the hours actually worked, with payslips
- Contracts per employee: hourly, daily or monthly, with allowances and overtime
- Hours and overtime reports, exportable
NO HARDWARE
Nothing to break, and no second system to look after
A scanner by the door is not one object, it is a second system you own. It needs power, it needs a network, someone has to mount it, someone has to clean it, and one day someone has to replace it.
The real problem is the day it stops. Nobody in the shop can clock in, and this is usually not something you can fix yourself: you wait for a technician or for the supplier, and that can take days. Meanwhile there is no attendance record at all, and the attendance record is what payroll is calculated from. A machine down for one day does not cost you one day. It costs you a month of figures somebody now has to reconstruct by hand.
WorkCo has no device at all. The hardware is the phone each person already carries and already maintains. If someone's phone breaks that is one person, not the whole shop. And opening a new branch means nothing to order and nothing to wait for.
- Nothing to buy, nothing to mount, no cabling
- No single point that stops the whole shop clocking in
- A new branch is live immediately, with no lead time on equipment
- No biometric data stored. It uses GPS inside a radius you set
- Managers can open it in any browser on a computer, signing in with LINE Login
LABOUR LAW
Built around the law of the country you actually operate in
Thai social security and Thai overtime are handled in the system, not left as a field for you to fill in. Taiwanese accounts run on Taiwanese rules instead: 特休 (statutory annual leave by length of service), 加班費 (overtime pay rates) and 勞健保 (labour and health insurance).
This is the part a system built somewhere else usually does not carry. Not because it is a lesser product, but because it was not built for the rules here.
SCALE
How many people, and how many branches
It is free while the whole group is up to 20 employees, counting every branch together rather than each branch on its own, and the free plan has no limit on the number of locations. Past 20 employees, or from 5 locations, the account moves to your own branded LINE account, where there is no limit on staff or on managers.
That is not a cut-off. When you pass either of these we get in touch and move you across. Moving to your own OA keeps everything: the same account, the same staff, the same schedules and the same history come with you. We move it for you, and nothing is set up again.
That is a proven figure rather than a stated ceiling: our largest live customer today runs 30 locations and more than 150 staff on one system.
PLAINLY
What WorkCo does not do
If you are looking for a full HR suite for office staff, WorkCo is not it. We are built for shift teams, and we have left out what a shift team does not use.
- No recruitment or applicant tracking
- No performance reviews or goal tracking
- No training courses or e-learning
- No document e-signing and no org chart
- Not connected directly to accounting software yet. Today you export a file
