Which one you should choose
Choose Connecteam if
- Your team is not on LINE, or you operate outside Thailand and Taiwan
- Your team is 10 or fewer and what you want for free is the chat and the knowledge base, not the schedule and payroll
- You need internal comms and a knowledge base as much as you need shifts
- You need to train staff through courses inside the system
- You want staff to e-sign documents in the app
Choose WorkCo if
- Your team is already on LINE and you do not want to make anyone install an app
- Your team is between 11 and 19 people, past where Connecteam's free plan ends and still inside ours
- You want Thai payroll on the same system as the schedule, not bolted to another one, and you want it from the free plan onwards
- You would rather not buy separate modules and add them up
- You want head office to see labour cost across every branch as the month runs, not after it closes

Questions people actually ask
Is the Connecteam free plan real?
Yes. Their own site states that teams of 10 or fewer get every hub with no expiry. If your team is that size and you also want the chat and the knowledge base, that is a good offer and we are not going to tell you otherwise. The two things to look at are what happens past 10 people, and payroll, which is not part of their free plan. Ours runs to 20 employees across the whole group and includes payroll.
Whose free plan is bigger?
It depends what you want for free. By headcount ours is twice the size: Connecteam is free to 10 people, WorkCo is free until the whole group reaches 20 employees, counting every branch together, at any number of locations, with no card and with every feature including payroll. But if what you want for free is the chat, the knowledge base or the training courses, theirs is bigger, because we do not have those at all. Past 20 employees, or from 5 locations, we get in touch and move you across. Moving to your own OA keeps everything: the same account, the same staff, the same schedules and the same history come with you, and nothing is set up again.
