WORKCO · CLOCK-IN ON LINE

GPS · NO HARDWARE · MEASURED AGAINST THE SHIFT

Clock in on LINE, from the phone each person already has.

Staff tap in and out inside LINE. WorkCo checks the phone's GPS is within the radius you set for the shop, then measures the time against the shift you assigned, so you know who was late and by how many minutes. No scanner to buy, no app to install.

GPS radius you set, 50 to 1,000 metres Lateness measured against that person's own shift No fingerprints or faces stored

HOW IT WORKS

One tap in LINE. The system does the rest.

On arrival, the employee opens WorkCo from LINE and taps Check in. The phone sends its GPS position and the system checks it is inside the radius you set for that branch. Outside the radius, it says how many metres away the phone is and does not accept the check-in.

The time of the tap is measured against the shift you assigned that person that day, not against the shop's opening hour. Morning shift starts at nine and the tap is 09:10: ten minutes late. Afternoon shift starts at one and the tap is 09:10: early. The system already knows when each person was due.

Checking out is the same tap. The hours actually worked that day are recorded, and they are the same figures payroll uses. Nothing is retyped and nothing goes into Excel.

  • Check in and out inside LINE. No app to install, no new password
  • GPS checked inside a radius you set per branch. Default 200 metres, adjustable from 50 to 1,000
  • A LINE reminder 5 minutes before the shift starts and before it ends, so people tap on time
  • Check-in is on from the start. The GPS distance check applies once you set the branch's location, and an account that only sends schedules can hide the button

LATENESS

Know when it happens, not at the end of the month

When someone taps in after their shift has started, the system records how many minutes late at that moment, stamps Late beside the name on the day's schedule, and adds it to the manager's notifications in WorkCo. Nobody has to trawl through a machine's log at the end of the month.

A grace period is set in each person's contract, for example the first 5 minutes not counted. The attendance report gathers every branch on one page: who was late, how often, how many minutes in total, and how many days each person worked this month.

  • Minutes late shown against the person's name on the day's schedule
  • Ten minutes after a shift starts, a LINE card to the owner can list who has checked in and who is missing
  • Tomorrow's shift previewed in LINE at 20:00, so fewer people turn up for the wrong shift
  • Reports export to a file for your accountant

NO HARDWARE

No scanner, so no day the scanner is down

A fingerprint scanner by the door is a second system you look after. It needs power and a network, and the day it fails nobody in the shop can clock in until a technician arrives. That month then has to be reconstructed by hand.

WorkCo uses the phone each person already carries. If one phone breaks, that is one person, not the whole shop. A new branch can clock in from day one with nothing to order, and staff out on deliveries or working away from the shop never have to come back to touch a machine.

  • Nothing to buy, nothing to mount, no cabling
  • No single point that stops the whole shop clocking in
  • A new branch is live on day one

FOR THE MANAGER

From a phone or a computer, with an attendance report that runs across every branch

A manager opens WorkCo in LINE on a phone, or in any browser on a computer with the same LINE Login. The day's schedule shows who has checked in, who has not, who is late and who is on leave.

If someone forgets to check out, the shift is closed for them at its scheduled end, and they can send the time they really finished, with a reason. A time no longer than the shift is saved at once; a longer one goes to the manager to approve. A forgotten check-in is fixed by the manager in the hours at payroll time.

LOCATION DATA

Location is checked at the tap, not tracked all day

The position is read only when the employee taps in or out, to compare with the branch radius. WorkCo does not track location during the day, and stores no fingerprints or face images. What is stored and who can see it is set out on the security page.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

What if GPS is off or the signal is poor?
It asks for GPS to be switched on first. If the accuracy is too low it says so and asks the person to move somewhere open and try again, rather than accept a doubtful position. On a day the tap genuinely cannot happen, the manager corrects that day's hours at payroll time.
Can staff check in from home?
No. Outside the branch radius the system shows how many metres away the phone is and refuses the check-in. You set the radius yourself, from 50 metres for a small shop in a building with many others, up to 1,000 for a large site.
We use a fingerprint scanner today. What actually changes?
A scanner knows who touched it and when, not which shift that person was due on, so lateness is worked out afterwards. WorkCo binds the tap to the assigned shift, measures lateness against that person's own start time, and carries it into payroll without retyping. And there is no machine to fail.
Do we have to build the schedule in WorkCo to use check-in?
The shift has to exist in WorkCo, because the check-in is measured against it; without a shift the system cannot tell late from on time. Building the week is quick: tap people into shifts, copy last week and adjust, and send it to the whole team on LINE in one go.
